CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. (September 21, 2026) — Jefferson County Prosecutor Adam Ward has announced the latest indictments handed down by the grand jury September 15th.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reports that a total of 23 people were indicted Jefferson County Grand Jury on September 15, 2026.
Ward cautions that “the fact that a person has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent under the law until and unless proven guilty.”
