Former Oak Hill Middle School principal faces new charges in Raleigh County

BECKLEY, W.V. — Former Oak Hill Middle School principal Chad Quesenberry is facing new criminal charges after investigators accused him of taking money from customer transactions while working as an equipment salesman in Beckley.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Raleigh County Magistrate Court, Quesenberry is charged with 12 counts of embezzlement, 12 counts of forgery, computer fraud and fraudulent schemes. A magistrate found probable cause and issued warrants.

The allegations involve Quesenberry’s work at Bridgeport Equipment and 12 transactions between Feb. 14 and July 18, 2026. Investigators say the transactions involved a total of $7,273.94.

The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office began investigating after company management reported concerns about customer payments. According to the complaint, a customer said they had given Quesenberry a $5,000 down payment on a tractor, but the transaction paperwork showed a $4,000 down payment. Investigators say the business found only $4,000 in its safe.

The complaint alleges Quesenberry admitted taking the missing $1,000 when confronted. Investigators say he later identified other transactions and repaid a total of $2,900.

Investigators also allege Quesenberry changed transaction amounts in the company’s computer system and applied or recreated customers’ electronic signatures on altered documents without their authorization.

The Raleigh County allegations are separate from a Fayette County case filed in October 2025. In that case, authorities accused Quesenberry of falsifying financial records and misusing funds during his time as principal of Oak Hill Middle School.
