PRINCETON, W.V. — The Princeton Police Department has reopened its investigation into the 2012 death of Angela Lynne Cook, also known as Angela McKinney.
Cook’s body was found in January 2012 inside a condemned building in the 800 block of Mercer Street. The building has since been demolished.
Police said an investigation determined her death was a homicide, but investigators were unable to make an arrest at the time.
The department said advances in technology and DNA testing have prompted investigators to revisit the case. Anyone with information about Cook’s death is asked to call Princeton police at 304-487-5000.
